PopCal began as a lesson scheduling system for one fencing club and grew into software for the business behind lessons, classes, accounts, and billing.

PopCal started with a practical scheduling problem. In 2010, I built the first version for a fencing club that was managing private lessons with paper and pencil.
What began as a scheduling tool quickly became a window into the rest of the business: who was taking lessons, what they had paid for, who needed to be contacted, what changed, and what needed to be remembered later.
That product became ScheduleFencing and grew with clubs over many years. PopCal is the next step: a new foundation shaped by that experience and designed for a broader range of instruction businesses.
